MY WORK PROCESS
Understanding Your Needs: Every event is unique, and so is each piece I compose. My first step is to grasp your preferences and desires, relying heavily on my emotional and musical intuition to guide the process.
Style & Scope: Together, we'll decide which moments of your event should be accompanied by personalized music. We'll select the ensemble or orchestra that best fits the occasion, gradually drawing closer to your dream composition.
Composition & Orchestration: The composing begins. I start with melodic sketches, gradually expanding them, and eventually orchestrating for the chosen ensemble. Throughout this process, your feedback and modification requests are always welcomed.
Recording & Mixing: The piece is then recorded and mixed. I collaborate with session orchestras all across the world. Once complete, I'll present you with the finished recording alongside a handwritten original score.
Live Performance: If desired, I can arrange for the composition to be performed live at your event with an ensemble. Given sufficient preparation time, we can also collaborate with renowned soloists.
ABOUT ME
German-American Dr. Lukas Schepp was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Munich. He started playing the cello at the age of 6 and was taught by David Grigorian (Richard-Strauss Conservatory Munich). He took master classes with Daniel Müller-Schott among others.
Later, Lukas Schepp started composing and trained with Prof. Sebastian Danila (NYU Steinhardt School of Music) and Prof. Ingo Stefans (Munich Music Conservatory). Lukas Schepp has written numerous film scores and concert pieces among others for JOM Orchestra Munich, the Odeon Symphony Orchestra Munich and the Budapest Scoring Orchestra.
He specializes in writing commission concert pieces for birthdays, events, ceremonies, wedding parties, engagements, anniversaries, memorials and other occasions - and he is looking forward to cast your special day in music.
